What makes college and high school wrestling similar is the scoring system. When you get a takedown it's two points and is a key move in wrestling. It involves off-balancing your opponent and taking a shot to get around their hips and score two points. Nearfall points can vary from 2, 3, and 4 points depending on how many seconds the person on top has the person on bottom on their back, they end up to be two, three, or four points. A pin

When I was in Sixth grade, I was a part of the interscholastic academic pentathlon. In this competition we had trivia questions and both team and solo work. I remember we would have study groups and random sessions with the coaches to study together and to get used to what we were really in for. I used the tools the school gave me like guided access to the library and computers including textbooks and websites that aren’t traditionally introduced to my grade…

Unlike other sports you can literally not be good at wrestling if you are not mentally tough. Now what do I mean by the term mentally tough? Mentally tough means you are able to push past what your mind may be telling you or what your body feels like and is telling you.
