In contrast to high-school, students take charge to construct their own schedules. They determine what time and what days they attend their classes. The subjects, taught there, are more specific according to the major and career path chosen by the student. In some college settings, there can be over two-hundred students in one class, and even remembering the professor's name is a challenge. Since professors don't take up homework to check if it is being done, the students education and the degree to what they learn is left in the palms of their hands. Attendance is key in college, it could mean passing or failing depending on the amount of days you attend. A thing of the past in college is dress code, you will see all types of styles and trends walking around. With such large classes, professors don't enforce any cell phone policies, just be respectful and step out when taking a call.
