High School vs. College

High school years are the times of student’s lives. The time to party, have fun and have new friends, and it is the time to study for the SAT and ACT, and make excellent grades to continue the education in college. Not every student in high school knows what to expect from college, and unluckily, I was one of them. My college experience so far has made me reflect about the differences between high school and college, and it has made me comprehend, that students need to be prepared for it. Professors, school resources, and the freedom that college offers the student make it a completely different experience from high school.
A high school teacher is the one responsible for the education of high school’s students. They are the ones who encourage students to acquire a high-level education and to fulfill a successful career. Becoming a high school teacher requires to have a bachelor’s degree and a completed teacher prep program. In addition, high school teachers develop a closer relationship with the students in order to influence them to pursue their future. High school professors assign homework daily, but they are flexible when it comes to the due date of the assignments. Students have various opportunities to turn the homework in before the professor grade the assignment with an F. Instead, a college professor is an expert who transfers his knowledge to the students, and turns them into successful professionals. College professors are required to…
