High School Students Replace The Purpose Of Volunteering

I strongly believe that requiring students to volunteer for community service in order to graduate does defeated the purpose of volunteering. The whole point of volunteering in a community is to make it a better place for people and to think of the lives of others and try to help them out but most importantly, to do these things willingly. If you are being forced to do something, most likely you will not enjoy it or do it with a positive attitude,these things can, and will affect how you do the task.
On the topic of high school diploma requirements, I believe that on the standard diploma, there should be no community service requirement. For the advanced diploma I think that there should be a certain number of hours required in order to achieve
