High School Students Rely On Too Much Technology Essay

High School students rely on too much technology. High School students don’t communicate as much and have lost the empathy towards others. High School students don’t bother to talk about how they feel instead they post it online for others to feel pityness, but in reality some students enjoy the fact that other students feel upset; most of the time the students don’t worry about what is happening to someone but will only pretend to care and help them if there is something in return, and technology has made High School students lose empathy towards other but only show emotions online to look like they are nice instead of showing it in person. High School students don’t bother to talk about how they feel instead they post it online for others to feel pityness, but in reality some students enjoy the fact that other students feel upset. The author Keith O’Brien states, “Some suggest, technology has connected them in one sense, but pushed them away from each other in another.” In other words, O’Brien is stating that technology has connected students in some type of way, that they can communicate with friends and even meet new people. Although, it also has made students depart from their close friends and families. Due to the dependency in technology a lot of High School students don’t bother to feel empathy towards their friends or family because they tend to be focused on what goes on within social media instead of their own daily lives or the people around
