Early in the morning teenage drivers are at risk for having severe car accidents as a result for being sleep deprived. Motor vehicle accidents are already fairly common for teens and as a result of this adults don’t have as much trust for them. In the state of Pennsylvania, the law has been changed so that you must be sixteen years old to receive your permit, and six months after you are sixteen and receive your permit you can apply for your junior driver's licence. This law has been changed because the state believes that teen drivers are unsafe on the road, get distracted easily, and make poor choices when with their passengers.
