Benefits High School Sports Participants

Did you participate in a school sport back when you were in high school? Well, you should’ve because it would’ve helped you gain more individual achievements and goals. An example that I can prove this is, one of my friends who came to this school a while ago, his name was Shalom, he participated in soccer for all 4 years. From pursuing this sport, he got a full ride scholarship to a university. All this started from him choosing to participate in a sport while in high school. Students should participate in sports because it leads to individual success, it will help you become more healthier and active, and school performance rates will increase.
This graph shows males and female students from 8th grade, 10th grade, and 12th grade participating in sport in the years 1991 and 2013 in percentage. Usually, more male participates in sport. In 1991 more student participated than in the year 2013.

A student who tends to participate in sports is more likely to have a successful life because playing helps with a lot of things like keeping your body healthy by maintaining your weight and eating the right food, and help you perform better academically by getting better grades. Taking part of playing sport will also lead you to be successful individually by changing what you do daily. People like parents or adult should concern about this because it affects their children too. Parents need to know that because if their kids are not active and exercising, then they’re are gaining weight and getting
