High school soccer tournaments are not very common in Iowa. The first ever soccer tournament for the Dubuque Senior girls Junior Varsity soccer team was a huge success. It was in Clinton - DeWitt,
The day started out by loading the bus at six in the morning at Senior. The sun was already out but the air still had a cold chill to it. All the girls on the team looked tired, their hair was messy and their eyes were barley open. I walked onto the bus and smelled something warm. I walk to the back of the hot bus to find a seat and someone had brought bagels from Big Apple Bagel for the whole team. I grabbed an apple cinnamon bagel and the first bite was soft and warm.
