I say this because I had learned how to recite the English alphabet from be t this day care. This caused me to be a bit ahead when it came to my very first day of primary school. The official education I was obtaining came from a school called Atwood McDonald. At this grade level I had learned simple adding and subtracting, and low level reading. For reasons like bullying I had left for another school. This place of education was titled East Fort worth Montessori Academy. There, they gave me a forth grade education similar to the years before. It was only till the fifth grade to where my A honor roll that I had always had changed to an AB honor roll. If no change was made in my GPA I will not reach my goals. I have about an 3.5 GPA(unweighted) so I can pass through all of the grades high school has to offer. The goals I have set are broken when it comes into get into a university or college. With the GPA of 3.5 you can apply to descent universities and get accepted but not to the best. That is something that I am not going to let slip by. If no change was made to my ACT scores I still will not reach my goals. My EPA scores are, on average, 17 out of 25 points. If this was put on a 36 point system, like the actual ACT, I would score 24 out of 36 points. This will do nothing for my time in high school. It will only affect what kind of university I can get into after high school. With a 24 I can only get into liberal school at most. My goal is to at least be accepted to a selective

I walked into the familiar main entrance of the school, crossing my arms and setting my face into what I thought was an intimidating glare. Although I looked like an angry toddler, with my round face and childish glower, my attitude came across very clearly: I was not happy at all to be back at school. After getting into a huge fight with my friend group earlier that year, I was starting high school essentially friendless. It wasn’t as if I didn’t have another group of people to fall back onto.…

It was the end of third grade and all of my friends and I were talking about who we wanted as a teacher the next year. Everyone wanted Mrs. Graham or Mrs. Friend because they were considered the “nicer” teachers. I didn’t really care who I had as long as they didn’t yell very much because it always scared me when they did that. I was the kid who always got upset when I saw that the teachers were yelling or mad at someone. My mom had told me that she didn’t request any certain teacher for me to have so it was going to be a surprise the next year when I found out.…

When starting high school there were many unknowns, due to the fact my parents were immigrants and did not know about the education system. Creating my high school schedule, I would have to ask my friends and they would help me based on what their siblings had done. I did not always feel confident relying on my friend’s siblings, so during high school, I researched to understand my opportunities. It was confusing to hear my friends say “my mom is making me take this class, “because I never had that source of advice. My junior year I realized that there was no guidance at all at my school.…
