Stressful topics filled these teenagers brains. Things such as choosing high school classes, if and where they were going to college, and deciding on a career, were all mentioned in a series of pleasurable ways. Split into four groups: pink, yellow, blue, and green, the students went to their coordinated stations, and then rotated once it was over.
At one of the stations, managers from the store of Redner's came and spoke to these young adults about finding, applying, and interviewing for jobs in their teenage years. The managers informed the students that once they were fifteen, they could get a workers permit to begin working. “Think of yourself as a full cup of water, and each class and extracurricular activity you take has its own cup. You do not want to pour yourself into too many cups or you will have less of your time and effort inside each cup.” was very wise advice given by a male freshman.
