If you had been hired my freshman year I know I would be so much more successful. I still do consider everything I have done at Buchanan the last two years extremely successful, especially my show. I know throughout the second semester I kept saying how I hated my show and it didn’t go as planned, but up until the actual performances I gained a lot of experience and that is what is truly important. You helped me gain every piece of experience from that show. I do still think that it was a failure because it didn’t turn out how I wanted it to, but you expanded my knowledge of directing and patience!…

Recently, I had a learning experience from my internship that will help me even more in my pursuit in the field of social work. The day that this event occurred it helped me be able to be the teacher rather than the student to my intern advisors. An internship makes the classroom’s abstract theories and learned examples concrete by placing the student in a real life work situation with real live co-workers performing actual professional tasks, which the job encompasses. Therefore, the payoff of an unpaid internship is that you will gain invaluable professional experience, where you might…

From day one to now, a lot has changed. Since I am interning at my uncles business, at first I thought he was going to treat me different then the other three that work in his office. I learned quickly he was going to treat me like an adult, like everyone else in the office and expect just as much from me as he does the other three employees in his office. As I mentioned in the midterm evaluation, pat, being my uncle, knew I had an emphasis in social media but didn’t quite understand what that meant. As I started to implement social media into their company, he asked me at a meeting why I would do certain things and how I got those ideas.…
