For those students who want to work with patients, but do not want to become a nurse or doctor, Sonography provides interaction with both by explaining the procedure to patients and get consulted by medical staff to inform them about the picture. There’s also variety of jobs and skills. Ultrasound techs may also specialize in obstetric and gynecologic sonography or abdominal sonography, cardiovascular sonography, and mammographic sonography. However, to be accredited into these fields, further education is needed. Many students out there who are currently attending high school, college, or a university often find themselves stuck on what career to choose. It’s pretty stressful and overwhelming having to choose what career to work for the rest of their life. I was lucky to figure it out right when I began college. After researching and interviewing an actual sonographer, I have gotten a pretty clear image of where I will be in the future. I am actually pretty excited. I hope my expectations for this job come
