High School Goals

Many people think I over achieve in school and I will do good in the future. Well, I do try in school to have a good future. When I hit my Junior year, I want to become section leader. When I graduate high school, I want to go to major college like UCI, MIT, or UCLA. As a career, I want to be software developer. Finally, when I move out of college, I want to live in Canada. All these goals can be accomplished, but I would have to start now if I want to achieve them. Starting with my high school goal, soon as hit my Junior year I want to become section leader of the flute section. Right now as a freshman I can’t really do that. My section leader right now is a Junior, so that means next year she will most likely be section leader next year. However, soon as she leaves I will try out for that spot, but being section leader is kind of a big responsibility. First of all, you would have to be the best player in the section, learn all your scales, and show leadership skills. Right now I am practicing all my scales so I can know them all by my Junior year. My top three choices right now is UCI, UCLA, or MIT. Now being in AVID for two years now, I know what I need to do to enter into a college. Right now I have high school classes for the next four years planned out already, so right now I am following the A-G requirements. I am getting A’s in all my classes right now and I am completing all of my work. Now what I need to do is to keep getting A’s in my classes and to be taking the ACT and SAT test, and to be in AP classes. Right now, I can’t exactly do that, but when I get older I should be doing those
