I’m a friend of a very talented football player. High school football. I think football is a good and safe sport to play. If it’s played the right way. In my essay I will describe some ways on how football is a safe and fun sport. And also a good learning experience. For one, football could be all my friend has to look forward too. What if he never liked school, always got bad grades and never even went to class? His introduction to football saved him and his education. Knowing that he could only play football if he had good grades, went ot every practice, and every class. He put his all into it, and now has good grades and is pretty good at playing football. Meeting new people, making new friendships. Your team turns into your family. Everything you do on the field now effects your family. You learn to protect your teammates on the field as you would in the real world. Not letting anything or anyone bring harm to them. As they do the same for you. You all have the same goal when playing football. Winning games, and some, getting scholarships to college. Lastly, being that you are very good at playing football, you could get a good scholarship to many schools, and even the one school you’d always dream of going to and playing for. Having those good grades and attendance and those yardages on the field helps with all that. But not only that, but the support of your family and friends. Even your coaches and teachers at the school. Helping you achieve your goal and motivating you to keep going. Never giving up on you. These are just a few ways to show that football isn’t all about injuries. Just because it’s a contact sport, doesn’t mean it’s unsafe. Keep in mind that football isn’t the only sport were a player could get badly injured. Football is a sport played by many all over the world and watched by even more. Football will never go out of style. If everyone plays by the rules and doesn’t play dirty, there wouldn’t be as much harmful things going around about the
