High School Flagline Research Paper

If anyone ever asked me what my favorite memory from high school was, it would most likely be related to twirling a flag in my school’s flagline. Even though the band members constantly denied us from actually being in the band, I always thought we made a great addition to the marching band and added a little extra spunk to it! I was on flagline throughout all my four years in high school. In fact, I was a natural at twirling and I was the only freshman who made the line my first year! I was a leader to my fellow twirlers and then became the captain during my senior year. There have been multiple times when I have heard a song on the radio and immediately recalled back a funny memory from flagline. Even though I can think of numerous songs that my marching band has played throughout the years, or a song that I used for a flagline audition, there are only a few anthems that really speak to me when it comes to flagline memories.
