“I tell them straight up, ‘It’s my kid. I pushed him, so I make the rules”. There was a teen named Andrea Sanchez who moved to the U.S from Mexico when she was a baby and which she became pregnant while being a teen. A third of a percentage of teen moms are to get a high school diploma the lowest of a ethnic group. Black teen mothers are more likely the women to earn a diploma by age 22. It was a suffer for us as a teen mother to stay strong, focus and finish school to get an diploma. It’s hard but you can do it, they say “just because you have a baby you can’t do it or it’s no use” but i don’t believe that is true . 60 percent still apply their self. Andrea lives with her grandmother she is 18 she does discipline her son and he is learning …show more content…
these public costs of teen pregnancy and families will hold onto chaos the osu alumna earns way less she gave birth at 20 instead of 17 . Yes it is still is some good kids that do have potential and actually do want to work hard. Teen pregnancy isn’t always as bad as people are trying to make it seem. About ¼ of the teenage mothers have worked hard for their diploma and not only just that they also work hard for their success in life. For example these two teen mom’s named Byrd, and Taylor were only so young when they had babies but, they didn’t want to let themselves go just because of their pregnancy. They had to go through obstacles such as working hard trying to graduate, and always staying after school to catch up on anything they needed to get caught up on. Another example is on a teen mom named Justin and she raised her son by herself the household her son lived in was only a single parent home and she still succeeded. I just feel like there isn’t any reason for the statement “teen pregnancies are never a success” i only say that because i don’t believe there should be any reason a pregnancy is slowing you down if you work hard enough it will all fall in

Research has also shown that women living in poverty are five times more likely to be the victim of unintended pregnancy than a woman with a higher income. The data for Cameron and Hidalgo counties shows that 38% of the 446,147 people 25 years or older did not graduate high school. It is hard for a teenager to lose the support of their friends and family when they are going through difficult times in their life. Many of the teens are seen as an outcast and are judged harshly by their peers. This rift between pregnant teens and their peers causes many negative implications.…

Senior Year My greatest memory so far in my eighteen years of being on this earth is without a doubt my senior year of high school. It was absolutely unforgettable. My senior year as a whole (which was just last year) was the most fun I’ve ever had in my life and the happiest I have ever been. When I was a chubby little freshman with glasses I thought to myself that high school would be one of the longest time periods of my life and that four years would feel like forty years. But man was I wrong, high school went by in the blink of an eye.…
