Why a Dance Team Should start in ECHS Escondido Charter High School and Escondido Charter High School Flex are really awesome programs. A couple weeks ago when I toured the high school it was beautiful. The gym, field, theatre, architecture, rooms, lunch area, and the flex highschool was all amazing. I noticed on the sheet handed out at the end of the tour that their were several amazing sports that even I was surprised was on there. Roller Hockey, volleyball, basketball, baseball, swimming, cheer, soccer, football, and even golf! As i read the paper I noticed that there was no dance on the list though. Seeing this I was a bit disappointed as I love to dance and it is a passion that I love to do. I noticed that other people had also asked …show more content…
First of all, we already have the theatre. The theatre has enough space for dance performances and is open for shows. Another benefit we have already is having Mrs. Bee?, as a dance coach already teaching dance at HFA. She is a great choreographer and I know this from recently watching the Classical Academy High School perform in a christmas concert. Her hip hop routines are amazing, and for the concerns of appropriate hip hop dance, her dances are appropriate. If we had a dance team, we could perform dances at the school, just like Classical, to bring people to discover the school and possibly even try and send their students to ECHS. ECHS could possibly even get supporters if we got a dance team that was good enough. Having a dance team would be like having relatives to cheerleading representing the school. Idk. A dance team is great for people who don't want to be cheerleaders, but don't want to be on a sports team as well. They can discover the ways of dance. Dance is very important as it help people concentrate with being controlling their movement while just dancing to a song they love. As a dancer. I know that dancing helps me relieve myself from stressful thing that might be on my

As well as having a desire to be able to receive an education in a field that I adore, I do not believe that I can open a credible studio without a college education. I hope to one day train the next generation of professional dancers, and a strong background in dance is required of me to make that possible. I love the dance program at UNCG because it is so diverse and will be a wonderful opportunity to begin making connections with up and coming, as well as already established, professionals. Being a part of the program will give me many amazing opportunities that will hopefully shape my career. My hope is that UNCG will help to make my goals…

Bright Water School Lock-In Many of the students who attend the school dances we hold are overjoyed to hear that it 's possible there will be more dances held this year, and we entertained the idea of having seasonal dances. When I brought this idea up to my teacher, I was informed that the dances are, to my dismay, quite hard to put together. When Miss Kerr heard that the idea of dances and socializing with other class was important to the students, she presented the idea of a "Lock-in. "…

“When your music begins, you will be in competition mode.” I took a deep breath, it was showtime. I was introduced to the world of competitive dance in August of 2011 and ever since, dance has been the outlet for all of my emotions. I started off as a shy little girl who hid in the corner, barely extending her limbs as I attempted to mock those in front of me. As time elapsed, I persevered through challenging ten hour practices and the taunting of my peers.…

I would have felt home sick with all that final review so it was pleasant and peaceful having entertainment for such a low cost but great performance. The movements I identified were a lot of the terms I went over in dance class from degage to grand battement, the list goes all over. The name of the performance should be called “The Art of Adventure” and it should be divided into subgenres which focuses on the main theme adventure. Adventure can be dim or bright but they always seem to have a long lasting well produced ending.…

This video was published on YouTube on November 25, 2007 and performed at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. This video is very beautiful and impressive at the first time I saw it. Then I keep watching it again to really focus on the detail of very movement and sections. The dancers presented a movement of an African American slavery era being empowered by drowned in the water but keep standing strong tightly.…
