Actualizing the first year appearing in Munford High School various would have shriveled under pressure and kept life’s tasks to oneself, however, Ann Smith, the new guidance counselor, stood her ground and became an inspirational soul that walked the halls of Munford High. Telling a personal story to the graduating senior of 2016, almost complete strangers, is terrifying for society as a whole, yet Mrs. Smith gives countless examples of how life has a funny way of figuring itself out showed a different side of herself to the seniors. Being born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1967 childhood was wonderful, no one could do any wrong. Yet, consistently it was difficult as a result of her father, the man of the household was an alcoholic, which was unknown to at the time, and the family suffered from that for years. On the bright side, he has now been involved with AA for thirteen years and the relationship between a father and his daughter is slowly being restored.
