Compare and Contrast
Freshman to junior year of high school are very different. I changed my clothing, hair, activities and I've shaped into the person I am today. I've made new friends and my whole experience has changed throughout high school. There are also similarities between my freshman and junior year. The way I feel about school, some of my friends, and some classes.
The first similarity is some of my friends, most of my friends have been with me since the beginning. We all go to homecoming together and snow coming and it's so fun to go with them all. We all go to football games together and get dressed up for the theme of the game. We cheer for the games and we usually get ice cream after. We have been doing this since

I still have to take gym class every year since I don't do any sports. I take health club fit because it's fun and I love yoga. I also have to take some type of English class every year and English is my favorite subject I just have always love it. I also have to have some type of math class every year so that’s another similarity within my classes.
The third similarity is the way I feel about school I still have the same view about it all. I know that we need school to get a job that I would like. School activities are fun like football games I still love those. I love pep rallies, I overall like the way the school is like a family. Especially with the renovation the school is bigger so that made me like it even more. School is fun with all my friends in my classes. This view hasn't changed since I was a freshman until now, being a junior.
To contrast the similarities here are some differences between my freshman and junior year. The first difference is my clothing, it has changed a lot. My freshman year I would wear sweatpants, leggings, and flannels almost every day. Today I wear lots of jeans, jackets, and sweaters. My whole style has changed I used to dress very comfy or really dressy. Now I wear more casual outfits for everyday wear. I also wear a lot less sweatshirts I just don't wear them as often. I don't wear as much athletic outfits either sometimes I do but not as much as I did in my freshman

Some people recognize similarities between them and characters from movies that they watch or from books that they read. I strongly think that I share many similarities with the character Rudy from the movie Rudy, and I think we are alike in many ways. To begin with, in the movie, Rudy never gave up once and always gave one hundred percent of his effort when he played on the field. Also, like me, Rudy loved sports and was always focused on getting better, and it was easy to tell because of his devotion to sports. Finally, Rudy was always the hardest working and most determined person on the field.…

Although I have many similarities with all the character presented, the character I most identify with is Vic. Vic is one who is eager to try new things and just get out and adventure. Vic can be interpreted as outgoing and wanting to be where the action is, seeing as he made it a mission to go to Allison’s party. In personality terms, I also love being social and interacting with many people. When I first came to college, I made it a goal to be very involved and do as much as a can.…

    Stick To Flute Analysis

“Stick to flute” is something I’ve heard from a few people while I was trying new things. Mr. Briem, one of the band teachers, took this the opposite direction and started me on a path to unknowingly end up like him. He encouraged me to explore music; that encouragement drove me in my first three years of high school to develop my musical skills. Briem introduced me to the potential I had for growing musically. He saw something in me that no one else did, and I didn't know at the time, but I’d later draw inspiration from that in a different setting.…

As an unimportant freshman, all I can remember is striving to become a senior. To be a senior meant being at the top of the totem pole, the apex predator. High school would then be my domain, and I would have some amazing revelation of my spot in the world. Three years of difficult work brought me to an undiscovered land, an undiscovered land that I had already discovered. Aside from being friends with some of my teachers and graduating that year, senior year seemed the same as any year.…

In previous years of school I have had many different experiences through extracurricular activities, having different teachers with different styles of teaching, and being in a school environment which forced me to learn things not only academically but learning about social life, things about myself, and what I need to work on to succeed in the future. In 2012 I started sixth grade at Eisenhower Middle School. I was excited to be out of Elementary school because I wanted a more advanced curriculum and I was excited to start learn the Double Bass in orchestra. I also thought it would be nice to go to seven different classes instead of having to learn everything from one or two people (regular and gifted teacher).…
