High School Cats Research Paper

Cats are weird and lazy creatures yet, we love them to death. They are great for cuddle and do not mind hearing you groan about a project or homework. For those reasons, i would recommend getting a cat to help with the stress-filled transition from one school to the other. Cats are a great companion and can really help with stress relief, especially with the differences between middle school and high school.
First, you have more freedom when picking classes. In the middle school you really did not have much choice at all. It was either band, choir, or study hall. In high school though you have a variety of classes like robotics or drawing. There are many more classes but I would be here all day talking about everything. There is so much

I think that the major problem here is that the prairie dog population grew out of proportion compared to what we were all expecting. Definitely, we can't blame the prairie dogs for reproducing and moving out of the reserve. The biggest issue is the lack of predators. We had predators, and then, they moved elsewhere. Why did they move elsewhere?…

In high school there are a plethora of options. There are required courses, obviously, but in general the student is given much more freedom with which classes they desire to enroll in. “Sixth grade is American history, seventh grade is pre-algebra, and that 's about it. High school is a whole new ballgame, with seemingly endless choices” One of the largest differences between middle school and high school is that in high school grades count.…

Although Kitty criticizes Margaret’s unattractive animalistic nature, Kitty is herself equally animalistic and is represented as a bastardized animal. Nothing short of an anthropomorphized cat, Kitty, bearing her animality in her very name, wails (West 5, 7) and moans (15) incessantly like a mewing cat. In 1916, Edward Forbush described the domestic cat, which can be similarly applied to Kitty, as “the inmate of … humble homes” who has “elegance of form … [and] daintiness of habit” (7). However, the domestic cat leads a “dual existence” by also embodying the role of the wild hunter (7). Like a feral cat trapped inside a house, Kitty is trapped within Baldry Court unable to express her natural desires.…

The theme of machines and morality explored in class inspired this piece along with several short stories, novels, and other science fiction media I’ve experienced on my own. The class discussions about nonhuman rights and the machine morality helped me in developing my ideas for how an A.I. like G.O.D. would function and how it would interact with the humans it was made to oversee. I believe this story fits into the Science Fiction genre because of the A.I. narrator, the concept of living forever via technology, and dealing with the concept of morality in machines. A few pieces that inspired this idea were the anime Sword Art Online, the short story “Cat Pictures Please” by Naomi Kritzer, and the last short story we read for class “The Last…

Big cats are some of the most beautiful animals on the face of the planet. Their strength and agility are stunning. Yet, in spite of these attributes, many big cats have been faced with a variety of obstacles that have hindered their healthy lifestyles. The Florida panther has been especially affected by these obstacles. In the November 1997 issue of National Parks, Yvette La Pierre’s description of the Florida panther in her article entitled “On the edge: Florida panthers, which once roamed the southeastern states, have been reduced to one population” is sad because it reveals that the Florida panther population has been greatly harmed as a result of pollutants, habitat loss, and inbreeding.…

When the Gothic Horror era began in the 18th century, it puzzled a lot of humans. Lad Kashmira made clear that, "During the Romantic era, many Gothic romance-based novels were published. As aforementioned, back then, the Gothic novels were marked by prominent sounds and smell, along with a strikingly horror and terrorizing environment" ("A Look at the Evolution of Popular Gothic Literature"). There are tons of gothic horror elements incorporated into stories. A gothic horror novelist, Edgar Allen Poe, incorporated more than one in all of his gothic horror novellas.…
