High School Career Analysis

When a student enters their freshman year of high school, he or she is about to enter a completely new experience in their life. This experience is an important one, because it is one that for the next four years, will determine what kind of a person the student is and will ultimately give insight into what future the student may have after high school. Because of this, these students receive much advice about every aspect of high school, such as what classes to take, what things to get involved in, and how to manage time between school, work, and sports if that is what the student is planning on doing in high school. Out of all of these different topics, the one piece of advice that I would give freshmen that are starting their high school career is about activities to be involved in. To be exact, my advice is to get involved in as much as you can. …show more content…
At first as a freshmen, I did not believe this very much because I believed that being involved in so much would create stress on myself to perform well in school and be an active participant in the various activities. Despite this thought, I took this advice to get involved, and quickly, my opinion about it changed. As I got involved with more and more activities, it allowed me to find myself and who I really was. Along with this, it allowed me an escape from the thought of homework, a place where I could have fun and be with friends.
