High School Career Analysis

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I am the youngest of four children, and I did not really attend public schools, but I was homeschooled during some of my elementary and middle school days. I was a very bright student and completed all my works, but I hit some challenges as I got older. I liked to do my schoolwork early, so I can have spare free time to play video games and hang out with friends before I had to go to football practice, but my mother who is very educated didn't allow me to spend all my free time to play video games. She would always want me to do chores or read a book, but I never really would get into reading as much because I never found it appealing. I later found out that reading a lot would expand my vocabulary and make my upcoming school days much easier, but when I approached middle school I noticed that reading and staying focus will take me a long way. Them not going to college kind of had a big effect on me because I thought that I wouldn't be ready to pursue my college career. When I was younger my brothers graduated high school and they had jobs, and when I noticed they weren't going to pursue their college careers. I saw all the free time they had they were making money and having fun without going to college or being pressured to go anything because it was their choices, but work and I thought I would end up doing the same thing as them after my high school career. I never thought that I could make it to college with the way I would do some of my work and that most of my family didn't go to college. Even when I was in high school I would think about me going to college and it was hard to me because I would think I wouldn't be on the same level as my other
