Colleges are more costly than high schools. High schools are usually paid for by the state and local government while college expense is usually paid by the attender. The attender of the college, according to international student admissions, pays about $21,750.00 dollars or more to attend college while high school students don’t even pay because taxes pay for the students’ admission. The cost of college may also alter if the attender gets a scholarship. High school students are not given scholarships unless private high schools give them away but usually most do not. The cost of college usually keeps a lot of students from going to college but in the long run they are missing out on a great opportunity. The cost between college and high school is a big difference because one is free while the other is not and the cost of it will have a lasting effect that follows the student around until it is paid off. High school students don’t know how much it actually costs to get an education while college students usually have to make the cost of their education a regular priority into their life so they can manage their other needs. High school students have their parents pay for most of their expenses and college attenders pay their own way and for everything. In high school follow a school directed schedule and proceed from one class to another while in college you manage your own time and schedule. In high school a bell tells you when classes start and end and in college you get to class without any formal reminder. In college you are required to have all homework or any missed tests or assignments done with no reminder from teachers like you get in high school. You are also required to get help if needed in college because teachers do not approach you with the request if they think you need help. Everything you do in college is all up to you and you have to manage everything. You do not get much help from anyone unless you ask for it yourself. College is self-based. High school is more like elementary school. Teachers make sure you get everything you need done and parents help you with what you don’t know. College doesn’t baby you. Everything is up to you and you are the only one that benefits or you either get a drawback. In college everything is up to you, unlike in high school were everything is basically done for

College teaches students to be more independent relying on ourselves to take care of our studies and learning process. Take High School for example. High School teachers will constantly remind students of deadlines for assignments while professors could care less if students missed the deadline. Because college students are considered more “mature”, students are required to manage their own time checking due dates for each class themselves.…

College is much better than High school in so many ways. One-way college is better than high school is that you are in control of what classes you take by the major you pick. In high school, the counselor puts you in the classes she wants you to be in. Another Way College is better is that you have your own freedom the teachers do not try to keep you in class forever and they do not fuss at you about getting up and going to the restroom. In high school, students try to keep up so much drama, but college students are more mature it might be a little he say she say stuff going around but nothing major like fighting.…
