This quote from the movie proves that everyone is against Will and he is alone for basically the whole movie, which creates a big conflict. This shows similarity to “The Most Dangerous Game” because once Rainsford falls off the yacht at the beginning of the story, he is alone and by himself for the rest of it. Another big similarity in conflict is the protagonists in both stories have a disadvantage. Kane is all by himself going up against Frank Miller and his gang, which is 3 guys. He is also disliked by many people in the town, while Frank is extremely popular and well liked by most of the townspeople. This obviously shows who most people are rooting for in this showdown! Ironically, Rainsford also has a disadvantage, because while General Zaroff knows where all the traps and hiding spaces are, it is all new to Rainsford.
