The bravest I think I have ever been was when I jumped off the high dive. I thought I could hear my heart beating. The only reason I actually did it was because my brother told me just to look straight ahead, he said that it was his best friend’s house. I looked straight ahead there was a long row of houses and at my right was a small play ground yellow and a tall basketball hoop. I still remember the feel of the rough bottom of the diving board on my feet.When I jumped I looked down and the water it was a dark blue and I couldn’t find the bottom. All I could hear was my beating heart and then I was in the water swimming up and up until I felt the cool breeze on my face I swam to the edge of the pool and pulled myself out and all I wanted
