Hi Megan, great post this week! I do have to somewhat disagree with your post about nurses being an example of high consideration/low initiation. I agree that nurses, or at least the best ones, tend to care much more about patient needs and patient care. However, I feel that it is extremely important (due to the nature of the medical field), that nurses have a high initiating structure as well. It is important that nurses are organized and follow certain processes and procedures in place. They also need to have clear and established expectations as their patients’ lives are in their care. In this field and profession, all positions need to be on point constantly and I feel that a more process-focused leader can help balance need for
