Mark Teixeira was drafted 5th overall in 2001 by the Texas Rangers, the team in which he would eventually make his major league debut for in 2003. I found this Yakudoshi party fun and very informative celebration (not to mention the great meal my wife and I had). I had an idea of the different types or the variety of food the Japanese culture has to offer, however, I think the most valuable lessons here were learning about the culture. I was fortunate enough to hear how the older generation and the younger generation view the practice of Yakudoshi, compare their views on food, hear and learn about some Japanese etiquettes (especially in the use of chopsticks as I described it in the discussion experience below), and hear their views on interracial marriage. Rudolfo Anaya was born in Pastura, New Mexico, on October 30, 1937 his family was born and raised on a farm he has three brothers and all of them went to serve in WWII. He grew up without the technology and not a lot of money so he would play childhood games like hide and seek tag and he loved to listen to stories.
