While I found the movie “Hidden Figures” very entertaining and informative I couldn’t help but find this movie had a couple of misconceptions that didn’t look right. One example being the segregation within NASA. I found it was rather comical in the movie as NASA purposely crippled themselves by trying to keep many bright African-Americans minds that showed nothing but promise anyway from the project. It seemed rather foolish to do this especially during space race with the Soviet Union as America was falling behind and were in desperate need to have an edge on Russia. Apparently from the movie the only people who actually wanted to make history where the three main characters Kathrine, Dorothy, and Mary as they stopped at nothing to overcome
