Jesus told the disciples, "I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore, be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.” Sometimes Christians believe that they should run at the first sign of trouble; however, Jesus sends us into darkness so His light in us can shine brightly amongst the non-believers. My absolute favorite passage of scripture is when Jesus engages the woman at the well because this is how He wants us to conduct ourselves. We cannot transform culture by abstaining from interaction with non-believers or win them over to Christ by acting just like them. Our witness
