Hi Marry: Similarities Between My Life

Decent Essays
Hi Marrina,
I can see where your life is similar to Mary. I admire you for being able to drive thirty minutes to work, work at your parent’s restaurant and pursue a master’s degree. Hopefully, the thirty minutes of riding from work gives you some time to relax before working at the restaurant and school work. No one is perfect and it is normal to be grumpy sometimes. I do understand how you can feel stress when you want everything to be perfect, but have a fixed schedule.

Some parts of my schedule are flexible, such as class times and work days. Fitting homework and studying in when I’m not at work and building a routine that you can stick to, but are able to adjust if other important things come up. As a working student, I have to be ready to adapt to new assignments, unexpected errands, and sudden work crises that need to be addressed immediately, so i make sure there is enough study time in my work schedule so that if something comes up, I can shift it into another slot during the week. I always communicate my schedule to my employers, friends, clients and family and make sure the people around me know where i'll be and when. I Sign up for an online calendar and send the URL to the people who depend on knowing where I am and when.…

My main focus for this week was to follow-up on projects that I was previously assigned and to update the management team on my progress. I was able to follow-up with all of the remaining sites as far as their stand still with the I-9 project. While taking on this project I have noticed that a lot of sites face the same issue, which is inconsistencies within their documentation/data. This is strange due to the fact that audits have taken place. This goes to show that there is room for error even when there are audits being done.…
