Hi Mitzi, After screening several candidates to replace Ismael, I haven’t found anyone that meets the qualifications for the role as an HR Recruiter. What I would like to propose, is that we distribute the requisitions between two recruiters. Ismael was responsible for recruiting for SHCS – Southeast, which includes New Bedford and Bourne, as well as SHBH, and all clinical positions. The average requisition for SHRI Recruiter, Karyn Paradis, has been in the 40’s for the adult programs.…

Response to Kristen's post Kristen, I must say that I do agree with you when you stated that the insurance companies do dictate a patient's life. Being that the patient can't leave AMA and they will not pay is a bit absurd to me. I personally feel that the patient should be able to make whatever decision they feel is right especially when it comes to their health. So longs we explain the possible outcomes to them then the patient should be able to make their own choice. Sometimes the patients are tired of the treatments especially if they know that their disease is progressing and there is nothing that can be done but mask the symptoms and not cure the disease.…

In Johnny’s case, his attorney is claiming Johnny’s death sentence is cruel and unusual punishment, and wants a new ruling which helps establish Johnny’s class of people an exemption from the death penalty. Utilizing Atkins as precedent, there is a need for empirical evidence in order to support Johnny’s claim. Atkins utilized empirical evidence pertaining to: the number of states whose laws permit such individuals to be executed, the trend of the issue, poll data of the issue, and the amount of actual executions for this class of person. This ultimately begs the question, how would the Court respond to the claim that Atkins should be extended to persons who “had severe mental problems but were not legally insane and had an IQ over 70”?…

He describes how teenage workers are force to work long hours, even 12-hour shifts, after school and on the weekend, often in robbery-prone conditions. Schlosser noted how the part-time nature of fast food work, and the high turnover rates also gave the workers little negotiating ability (p. 75).…
