Hexaco Personality Test

The way we are usually goes hand in hand with the environment we find/found ourselves in, such as the environment we grew up in. Most of us are familiar with horoscopes and we’ve most likely read the descriptions under our zodiac signs to see if what it says matches us, some descriptions are scarily accurate and some are just out of proportion. Similar to horoscopes, the Hexaco personality test had some spot on descriptions on how I am, but it had some that I strongly disagree with. I grew up in a very free and sociable environment in Mexico. I lived in a ranch with a small amount of population, and I knew most of them by the age of three. By this age, I was out and about, exploring the world as it unfolded before my eyes. I remember going out to make friends and get them to catch insects with me. …show more content…
I see myself as an exceedingly curious person, but according to Hexaco, I have little curiosity. I feel like this result does not fit me at all. Back in 2012, my mom had some important news to share with the family. I asked her if she could tell me at that moment, but she said that I had to wait for my dad to get home because she was planning to tell him first. At that moment, my curiosity levels rose and I asked questions trying to figure out what the news were more likely going to be about. I saw that she wasn’t giving in to my talkative form of persuasion, so I left it there, or so that's what she thought. I waited for her leave her purse and then I checked it. I looked through her purse until I found what I was looking for. My assumption was right, she was pregnant. Once my dad arrived home and she told him the news, she then she told my brother and I, pretending like I didn't know, I showed to be shocked. Up to today, she still doesn't know that my curiosity got the best of me and that I found out about her being pregnant before she made it

When I was six years old, I started to get moved around from house to house. I lived in North Chicago, Illinois in a 3-bedroom red and burgundy colored house. I loved playing in the basement with my cousins and sister. We would hang a white hanger from the ceiling to act as a basketball hoop and use balled up socks to shoot baskets. We would stay down there until my granny called us up for dinner.…

Constructed Response The Chinese zodiac “十二生肖” is lunar cycle with one of twelve animals-rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, and boar-corresponding to each year. The Chinese calendar starts on February 1st instead of January 1st. It is believed that four thousand years ago, the Chinese created the system. Another theory is that they divided a 24-hour day into twelve periods, “with the first period starting from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.”…

Personality indicators or assessments can be an eye opener for a person who is not completely knowledgeable or truthful about his or her own personality traits. Personalities do tend to differ based on the various things such as the time of the week, time of the day, awareness, and even physical appearances. Personally, I feel my personality is acceptable and can improve, but with the help of a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and a Big Five Personality Model, I have a new form of identity for myself. First, Robbins and Judges identified extraverted individuals as “outgoing, sociable, and assertive” and introverted individuals as “quiet and shy”. Prior to taking the indicators and assessments I would have identified myself as both in some ways…

Another way a person can have curiosity is through mistakes. If a person ever makes a major mistake that could change the way they live, they constantly question if life would be different if that mistake never happened. Curiosity is especially evident in “Christmas with Grandfather” and “The Unknown Errors of Our Lives” by Chitra…

Can a silly personality test determine what career is best for you? Recently I had taken the True Colors Personality test which assesses what a person values, how they make decisions, what they like to do, and what they think of themselves. It separates people into four categories or “colors” and each one has their own description of what a person in that category is like. Some people even exhibit a combination of more than one color, but for the most part only one color will show dominance. Pre-dominantly I exhibited the traits of the color gold.…

Curiosity can be an incredible tool to propel an individual to heights they have never known. Leonardo Da Vinci was probably the most curious person to have ever lived, and look at how amazing he was. Having an interest in the unknown will build courage as long as it is followed by action. Being generally curious opens up opportunities to learn and build new skills.…

Actually, she was the one who mentioned it to me. My dad always leaves for work before all of us others in the house even wake up. Most mornings we are rushed getting ready for our days, but for some reason on this particular morning, my mom had enough extra time to cook a yummy breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, and oranges; We all had time to sit down and enjoy it together. I guess my mom had previously overheard me talking about this boy I liked with my best friend, because shortly after I sat down at the table she asked, “Who is this boy you and…

Who am I? A question that would made you think well and might puzzle you out. Describing yourself is harder than describing someone because there are some areas in you that you are not certain of such as characteristics, personalities, and attitude. Also, there are things that other people would notice while we can’t because those things are the things we do that we are not conscious about. Talking about myself, I am Noreen Joyce F. Panganiban, a 16 year-old girl turning 17 this March 2016, from Carmona, Cavite.…
