A concept is a mental grouping of similar objects, events ideas, or people and my concept is college. My prototype, a mental image or best example of a category, of college is Penn State University. The first thing that comes to mind when I hear the word college is Penn State because it’s one of the most popular universities in central Pennsylvania. Their football team is very famous along with the fact that I know a lot of people who are Penn State alumni, including my brother, or are currently enrolled there.
