Did you know that the movie for the outsiders is only roughly one hour and thirty minutes. Some might say that the movie the outsiders makes you have less sympathy for Johnny and Dally. I am saying this because in the book Dally sounds like he wanted to die more in the book. I am saying this because when it was written in the book even said he had a look of triumph in his eye, and in the movie, it seemed that he was scared and how he didn't want to die. The book is better.…

I have chosen the book The Outsiders and the scene I have chosen is when Johnny has killed Bob in order to save Ponyboy. Ponyboy was in the situation where he was being drowned causing him to faint. During this time the details of what Johnny really did are unknown since Ponyboy is the narrator but Johnny ended up killing Bob which caused Randy to run away. Ponyboy and Johnny later run away to try and escape the fact they just killed a man, even if it was self defense they still killed Bob.…

Through this book I enjoyed most of all the characters. But the one that I liked the most was Johnny he was sweet, kind, frightful, shy, strong, and very thoughtful. The one that I liked the least was Dally. Dally was tougher, colder, meaner than the other characters in the Outsiders. Dally overall just has a weird personality that made me make him my least favorite character.…

She also stood up for what she believed in by stopping Bob and his friends from hurting Ponyboy and Johnny.…

Similarly, a hero knows how to turn everything bad that has happened to them into a lesson that they can use in the future. This is called a growth mindset, or in Johnny's case, a growing heart. As a matter of fact, Johnny's heart has grown so big and strong that he has the ability to protect people who have inflict harm upon him. This is a rare skill in many heroes, but it just shows how much compassion that John has inside that heart of his. This was demonstrated in the film “John Henry”, created by Walt Disney, where John had stopped his co-workers from pushing the Steam Drill upon its side, potentially injuring the man inside.…
