In The Avengers, Joss Whedon tells a story of how Earth's mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team so that they can stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving Earth. This film contains some material inappropriate for children under 13; therefore it is intended for an audience of 13 and older. The Avengers is an excellent film of heroism because of the superb plot, intense action, and strong acting.
The Avengers is about how the evil Norse Loki is assembling an army of Chitauri aliens to conquer Earth after he was banished. With the help of the tesseract, a mystical cube, Loki plans to open a portal and start the apocalypse. The black-ops government agent, Nick Fury, must assemble a team of “Earth’s

The film was foreshadowed by five different films previous to it. It began with the banishment of Loki at the end of the film, Thor. Loki wanted to obtain power from the tesseract, which was last seen falling from the plane in the film, Captain America. In the remaining three films, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and The Incredible Hulk, the start of the Avengers Initiative is mentioned. Leading to The Avengers, which has a clear and concise plot. Throughout the whole movie, it was action-packed. It begins with Black Widow, who single handedly defeats three man while tied to a chair. As mentioned in the “Marvel’s The Avengers: Movie Review”, “The action in the [The Avengers] includes numerous explosions, gun fights and hand-to-hand combat” which are violent but doesn’t become gory. The action in this film ensures that there is never a dull moment.
Last but not least, the acting in the film, The Avengers, also contributed to the excellence of the movie. In the movie it used well-known actors, starting with Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man. Each superhero in this film had a strong role and every actor/actress filled that role. The villains are not forgotten because “a superhero movie is only as good as its villain”, which helps encourage Tom Hiddleston “brings it” when playing the role of the witty and crazy daring Loki, as mention by Peter Traver.
In the film review “'Avengers': Multiple Marvels, Diminished Fun”, Joe Morgenstern discredits the film, The Avengers, by implying marvel just threw together superheroes and made them a team when he said, “What if Marvel gave a party and everybody came?”. He also mentions how the only star was Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and how the film only got better when Iron Man

“Set in 2029, “Logan” is the closest thing to a valedictory the Marvel universe has yet concocted. ”1 ”Unlike any of its predecessors, Logan feels organic and, despite being loaded with plenty of references and Easter eggs, manages to work well as a standalone film.” 2“James Mangold’s Logan is a grizzly and exceptionally dark character-driven tale; one that is unlike any other comic book-inspired story you would have come across before. ”² “When the newer superhero films go for sincerity, they often achieve "sincerity" instead. Logan is a 2017 Marvel comic-adaptation that strips away the conventional superhero film characteristics, the twists and turns of the X-Men franchise, to revolve around one of Marvel’s most famous superhero, Wolverine. Flawlessly merging both Marvel and Western mythology, director James Mangold has created an emotionally and symbolically significant element, one that focuses on Hugh Jackman’s adaptation of a declining and shriveled hero. The dystopian film, set in 2029, is incredibly desolate, and even more-so violent; yet, the protagonist rises to the spotlight when his child, Laura, becomes his unwillingly responsibility, a scene that finds itself a fair level of significance towards the developing plot. The film has seamlessly immersed the…
