Addiction expert Scott Krakower, as assistant unit chief of psychiatry at Zucker Hillside Hospital, in New York, told CBS News. The report also stated that many Americans die every year from heroin overdose than of motor accident cases. In addition, millions of Americans use drugs as a painkiller for a non-medical reason which indicates that people abuse substances. Krakower claimed that heroin is dangerous and deadly, it makes you high and suppresses breathing and people can die from it. He also said that drug abuse treatment and therapy for mental health conditions and addiction all these addiction centers should be improved in U.S.A.
