Over eleven million people were killed in the Holocaust. Because of Hitler’s hatred for Jews, over six million people of that eleven million were Jews. In these tough times, heroes were needed. In “Diary of Anne Frank,” two ordinary people selflessly risked their lives to help Anne’s family. Although some people don’t take action against evil, ordinary people can be heroes because they risk their life for good, they help people, and forgive people when they do wrong. In Hitler’s rein, Nazi’s were scouting the streets to find Jews to take away to death camps. Anne family, the Franks, needed somewhere to hide.
