Neither is the saint or the hero able to exist in this world without the other, essential co-habitation. Because of this truth, both the hero and the saint need to find a way to live in harmony and peace. The existence of the hero and saint share this world. In contrast, the hero is a fully developed character that cannot be destroyed or created but exist in whole without end. The main purpose for hero’s life is to reach self-fulfillment and self-gratification in their own achievement. On the other hand the saint is created from the natural disasters of life or through the realization of others. Saint fulfillment comes from serving others, placing their needs and wants before their own. Fundamentally, the metaphor of the saint and hero are not distinct between the individual and society. For a person that views themselves a saint is viewed by society as a hero. Perspective is everything, and the role of the saint cannot be filled because humanistic characters or traits will always end up back to hero mode. The role of the saint cannot be achieved for in the end the overall societal view is falling under the influence of the hero. And there for anyone that claims to be a saint, will eventually fall short and be overcome by society’s view, that of the
