Hero: The Story Of Agape

What is a hero, is it someone of noble blood or just a commoner? The story of Agape is birthed to life in both traits. Agape's father was the ruler of Persia. But on the other hand the poor girls mother worked in the kitchen in a nearby tavern. Agape never knew her father because his wife would have been crushed if she knew of Agapes conseption. So the girl grew up poor filling cups and cleaning pots and pans.

On one breezy fall day Agape was in the market shopping for her mother, when all of a sudden two young men come crashing through the market in the middle of a massive sword fight. Thinking nothing of it as this was just a normal night. In the corner, sat a group of men, dark grizzly murderous looking. One of the men called to her, " More drink for me and my men!" She made her way to them filling their cups avoiding their perverted words and their lustful gazes. Agape was a beautiful girl, although she would never admit it. Her amber hair and her icey blue eyes were captivating, but the dirty rags she wore was the only thing she seen or noticed about herself. She finally pulled away from the cutthroats by her mother. Agapes mother pulled her aside, " Never go near those men promise me!" Agape swore and obeyed her mother by avoiding the men at all cost. As the night drew to an end, Agape went to throw out the scraps from the night out behind the tavern. It was dark but Agape wasn’t scared. She thought of herself as brave hearted to some extent. She was almost done raking the scraps onto the ground as she turned around, *thump* it was too late. Everything began to close in as she …show more content…
It was still dark but she felt as if she was asleep for more than just a few hours. She then realized that she was not only tied but tied to something, no someone. In front of her in the saddle sat a large man. After a few minutes he finally spoke in laughter, "You are finally up." She could not speak back, for her mouth to had a restrain on it. She heard a few other men behind her laughing. Agape had no idea where she was, but she knew two things. One the man in front of her smelt horrible, and two she was thirsty beyond belief. All of a sudden there were two horses in front of them. She heard a man say, "Halt!" Everyone stopped. "I saw something, horses I think." At that moment the man in front of her fell and with him Agape. Then she heard three more fall with a thud as they hit the ground. She could not see, as her face was in the dirt but she heard a man the same one from the front of the pack. "Please do not hurt us?! What do you want? I will give you anything!", then swoosh. Agape heard nothing but a familiar voice. It was one of the boys from the market, "Need some help mam?" She then felt the ropes being cut away from her hands.
