Hero In Life Of Pi

In the story, Pi fits the characteristics of a hero. He is intelligent and mature for his age, as you can see in his studies in religion and science. When Pi is stranded, his survival skills demonstrate his heroic qualities. Pi is able to accept the deaths of his family, showing his maturity: “I would be in the direst of dire straights, facing a bleak future.” Another character like Pi is Beowulf. Beowulf can be described as a fighter and a man of strength. He was brave and confident just like Pi. Pi was brave enough to stay on a lifeboat with a tiger and tame him. Beowulf was brave enough to fight the monster with no weapons or men.
