The real heroes are the ordinary everyday people that help others even when they need help themselves. Just because someone wears a cape and has movies doesn’t always define a hero. The real hero is the homeless person that helps others when he/ she needs help. Many people don’t actually know what a hero is and they don’t realize anyone can be a hero. Helping the elderly person across the street is heroic because people are helping others that need to be help. The way heroes are portrayed aren’t always with a cape and a superpower, everyone can be a hero. Although most people think of heroes as being a strong person that has super powers, a true hero is an everyday average person that does something not only for their benefit, and who never gives up on what they are trying to achieve, also someone who takes risks and is brave. …show more content…
Heroes never giving up is shown within many hero such as Ana the mother who fought cancer. When Ana was diagnosed with cancer she still did the same activities she did when she didn’t have cancer. She even did the activities when they drained her energy and when she felt tired. Ana never gave up as a mother even though she was fighting cancer. Ana had cancer once in her life and she was diagnosed again with cancer. Her daughter said this, “....even the bad things that happen in your life should be embraced” (Ana’s Daughter, Monica Piece Two). Ana has integrity because even though she had cancer she still helped her kids with things that they needed. Additionally, Ana was still in a good mood even though she had cancer she knew to stay strong. She set a good example for her three kids that she had to take care of.
