Hero In An Alcoholic Family

For this exam I have chosen to talk about hero. When you think of a hero, you think of someone that saves and protects the city and the ones he cares about from evil. Well, in an alcoholic family a hero is somewhat the same but not as much as your typical hero. A hero in an alcoholic family usually plays the role of the oldest child. They are successful inside the family circle and also being successful outside of it too. The hero is the one that provides those moments of hope and pride for their family even when the family is going through the toughest of times. They learn everything from the enabler growing up from knowing what to do or say or what to and not what to do. But the downfall of this is that they are the most difficult ones to be treated. They have to make themselves happy while making their parents happy. Now say another child is born, now we take on the difficult task, the triangle. Now the hero has an even larger role to play and by doing this, they will not stay healthy for long. The hero feels obligated to do something to correct its mistakes to make up for its weaknesses, heal its pain to heal its own.
The hero has 6 personal potentials. They are physical, emotional, social, mental, spiritual and volitional. The physical potential is when a hero has the ability in physical skills such as sports or arts and crafts and so on. A child whose talents lie under more of the academic life style, may take away from that activity needed to develop their body because they think it will get in the way of their academics. If they keep this up they will eventually keep getting more and more sick threating his life. The hero may develop a phobia about illness all because he thinks he deserves to be punished. If the hero keeps this up, they will eventually suffer from heart attack and strokes. The emotional potential is when the hero knows what he is doing is good but is never good enough to make things right with his
