Many things have changed over the years but one thing which still persists today is the Emotional Branding aspect which is used by some very good brands. Emotional branding has always contributed in enhancing the brand equity of any organization. There are lot of companies which uses this concept in their advertisement. Such ads impacts the conscience of customers who start associating themselves with the brand and become more than just loyal customers for the company.
Nike uses the technique of emotional branding its ads – “Hero archetype –The Story of a Hero”. The story of hero talks about the struggle hero has to face and finally emerges as triumphant. Nike ad instead of focusing on its external enemies focus on oour our internal enemies
