Throughout the Harry Potter books, Hermione’s character develops into a girl who cares for her beloved friends. As time goes by the trio end up spending their time at hogwarts together which developes a great friendship and a few friendship problems to arise. As friendship problems do seem to appear, Hermione has certain traits that make her stand out from the rest. She is always ready to snap back whenever someone tries to correct her because she knows that she is a always right.“Well, if you two are going to chicken out, fine, I don’t want to break rules, you know. I think threatening Muggle-borns is far worse than brewing up a difficult potion. Her father is always pressuring her to find a suitor because she has to get married as soon as possible. The problem is that Jasmin is not looking for a suitor and has her eyes set on the world beyond the castle. She decides to leave the castle before anyone notices, and explores what outside of the castle walls. ¨ Oh i'm sorry Raja, But i can't stay here and have my life lived for me.¨ As she tells her pet tiger, Raja, that she is leaving it gives the reader can notice that she is ready to explore and live her own life out of curiosity.This trait was both beneficial and hurtful for jasmine because of the incidents that happened when she was out in the real world.
