The exposition of the story is that the character, Hermia, is forced to marry Demetrius, under the command of her father, Egeus. Hermia is not in love with Demetrius. She is in love with Lysander. Her good friend, Helena, is in love with Demetrius. It is the law of the land that she must marry who her father says or she will killed. Hermia plans to take run away with Lysander, to his aunt's house, where the law does not exist there. They plan to meet up by the Fairies. The rising action of the story is when in the Fairy community, Titania won't give Oberon a son. Oberon says he's going to torment the Queen for this. He then gets his counselor, Puck, who a prankster. He then told Puck to get the flower, the Lore in Idleness, which the juice of the flower would make whoever fall in love with the first thing they see. …show more content…
Later when Hermia and Lysander were escaping, she had became fatigue. Lysander found a soft log for her to lay, and they both fell fast asleep. Puck had then put the flower's juice on Lysander's eyelids. When he opened his eyes, he saw Helena instead of his love, and he was then in love with Helena. The same thing had then happened to Demetrius. He had fallen in love with Hermia. The falling action of the story is after Helena and Hermia were arguing, the two men went to the woods. The fairy king had then noticed what Puck had done and commanded him to undo it. The fairy king had walked away to see what his wife Titiana had woken up to. Titiana had then woken up to a clown with a donkey head's on him. Puck had finally undid what he messed up. Edeus had approved and let Hermia and Lysander be together. The denouement was that life went back to somewhat normal before everything happened. The law wasn't put into place, and everyone got to be
