Heritage And Religion In The Diary Of Anne Frank

In the Diary of Anne Frank, Anne shows a lot of positivity towards her heritage and religion. Evidence of this would be when anne shows a lot of excitement when they are trying to explain hanukkah to their friend Mr.Dussel who didn't understand judaism because he was dutch. “It isn’t over yet! There’s a lot more, songs and presents” (774). When anne says this she shows that anne love her religion. Also, even though they are living in an attic in world war two anne still gives presents that she made to the other people in the attic.
In the play anne shows pride in symbols, such as the star of david. When the two families just move into the attic she begins to remove the star of david that the nazis sewed into her clothes. She almost throws it
