Prologue
Listen up folks; we have a story to tell. It’s about Hercules, a great hero. Well… He was supposed to be a great hero. He was born the son of Zeus and Hera. You see, Hades did not like this; it would ruin his plans of over-throwing Mount Olympus. He sent his two henchmen, Pain and Panic, to take care of the little “problem.” Unable to complete their task, Hercules was left with his strength, but he was no longer a god. A couple found Hercules on his own as a baby, and took him in. Being so different from everyone else, Hercules would never fit in with the other kids his age, or anyone for that matter. His strength brought many difficulties in his life, especially since he was not accepted among the other people of his village. This disapproval of the people around him brought him great pain and suffering in his life. The sky is blue now, but it can be gray. When it rains the sky becomes gray. It is cold…”
“Phil! Phil!” Hercules yells, “Please will you help me?” he says with hope flashing through his eyes.
“No I’m…” A flash of lightning rages throughout the sky, “I-I’ll help.” Phil says his eyes wide in terror. Hercules gives Phil a strange look, confused by the sudden change in thought, but brushes it off.
Page 8 After several days of training Hercules had become stronger and faster, yet his confidence still lacked greatly. “So where are we going now Phil?” Hercules asked hesitantly. “Not to fret, we’re going to Thebes!” Phil cheered. Both jumping onto the back of Pegasus, they began their journey to Thebes.
Page 9 Phil began speaking, looking over the vast forest, “You know Herc; they probably will not accept you immediately. Acceptance is key. Keys can open doors. My door is brown…” A loud shriek rang throughout the forest, throwing Phil’s train of thought
