The message of this illustration is that aging individuals can love their bodies just the way they are, and can be viewed as attractive. The lady is unmistakably depicting a cutting edge sexy style in her "diaper" generally worn by females in their twenties. This demonstrates she is assured about her sexuality and age doesn’t have to hinder her appreciation for human sexuality and attempts to look physically attractive to her other half by keeping up with current socially sexual satisfactions. Her better half is by all accounts humiliated or even joking about her apparel. He might be doing the same with pretending to find her behavior inappropriate, but who knows, in reality he might think it’s great. …show more content…
As of the cartoon picture, she appears to be happy and content with her age and her body. I see her as someone who has a great sense of humor, which is an extremely important characteristic and plays a huge role in the overall quality of life. As depicted in the film by Kay and Arnold, many people believe that older couples sleep in separate bedrooms, avoiding any romantic interactions. While the idea is sometimes true, the majority of couples continue sexual activity regularly. According to one study, 73% of respondent who were between the ages of 57 and 64 were sexually active. While the study showed that sexual activity did decrease with age, 26% of respondents ages 75 to 85 still participated in sexual activity (Lindau et al., 2007). Kay and Arnold, unfortunately, were part of the 27% that did not continue sexual activity.…

It portrays a young, nude girl, sitting with her legs together in a shy pose. It is also a representation of the girl’s awareness of her changing body, as well as an indication of her sexual desire that she cannot or is afraid to show. Theories say that Munch has represented himself as the girl in the painting and that he illustrated his own undeveloped sexual desires in the form of a girl.…
