Henry Ford may have been the first to make an affordable and reliable car for America, and many people looked up to him for it, so did the Nazi’s, but they looked up to him for a different reason. He wrote and published anti-Semitic writings. Henry also expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler and Germany. Ford accepted many achievements, some were not ones that people would be proud of and others were. John Francis Dodge also competed against Ford on making his mark in the automotive industry.

When the dodge brothers first established their own company, they sold almost 250 vehicles in its first year and sold 45,000 the next year. 3 years after their first car was produced, the Dodge brothers added trucks to it repertoire and they were also the first to make an all steel car.
Ford’s contribution and impact on society was in 1913, when he made the first assembly line for automobiles. The model T was the chief instrument of one of the greatest and most rapid changes in the lives of common people in history. Ford established a school for immigrants to help them communicate with Americans. Dodges impact on society was he aided in supplies and vehicles to the United States military and in 1936, Dodge had wiring for a radio antenna added to their cars for the first time.
