(Assembly Line,1999)(Ford Motor Company,1999) Ford innovated the automobile industry and jump started it to be very prosperous and powerful. His work was also important for other industrial areas, such as mass production ,because of his work with the assembly line. Another of Ford’s greatest accomplishments was his entrepreneurship and skill with business. Using his skills he revolutionized business, and his new industry opened new jobs and created space for many other companies like Ford’s company’s competitor Volkswagen.(Assembly Line,1999) Ford changed society by introducing the car. This does not seem like much today but him doing this in 1908 changed the whole landscape of transportation and production. His cars were also just cheap enough so that the richer middle class could afford it. This meant that not only the very richest would be able to get them.Price of car would have been $850, or $21,175.84 in the modern day. This made it a staple of freedom and changed the world for the better.
